WebFYI, I had to manually replace (backup first!) the cameras.cfg file as the mod didn't seem to properly overwrite it, I checked this by installing the mod as intended and then while in game additionally replacing the original cameras.cfg file and reloading the aircraft using dev tools which only then actually changed the camera view.
